Memories are priceless and some of my most cherished memories are with my mother and the moments we shared together like family trips to the South Padre Island and making frosted sugar cookies at Christmas time. My mother and I also spent many of our springs and summers picking wildflowers along the canals to make bouquets, which was the inspiration behind creating the Box of Wildflowers candle gift set.
Since becoming a mom, I have created many new memories with my own daughter, which I greatly treasure such as her birthday dinner at the Tower of the Americas, making tiramisu from scratch on Valentine’s Day, and family getaways to Sattler where we tube the Guadalupe River on hot summer days. All of these moments hold a special place in my heart and will live on through my daughter as she shares these memories with her own children someday.
This Mother's Day we will be hosting our inaugural Mom n’ Me Candle Making Party where participants and their mother will spend the morning creating their own, one of a kind candle and designing a unique mother-daughter signature fragrance. This truly is a memorable experience for mom and daugther! Refreshments such as limoncito mimosas (compliments of the Southside Craft Soda Company) and brunch bites will be available to indulge in. Each participant’s name will also be entered into a prize raffle and mom will receive a special gift!
The workshop will be held Saturday, May 7th from 10a.m - 11:30a.m. at Peace by Piece Connection, 4803 S Flores St. Ticket prices included a DIY kit filled with all of the tools you need to make your own signature creation and a special surprise gift for mom. If you didn't have a chance to secure seats to this workshop then keep and eye out for our next one, Pineapple and Pina Coladas!
