  • What is a Candle "Bar?"
    Our Candle "Bar" is a hands-on creative Candle-Making experience where you will select your preferred scent, choose your perfect vessel, and add some fun add-ins to personalize your candle.
  • How long does it the process take?
    The Candle-Making process typically ranges from 1 hour to 1.5 hours. During this time, you'll have the opportunity to perfect your ideal scent and allow your candle to dry. While your candle is drying, feel free to enjoy our store's vibrant atmosphere, complete with entertaining games, or venture out to explore the surrounding area, which has a variety of restaurants and fun shops.
  • Can I take my candle home that day?
    Yes, you can take your candle home the day of. The candle will take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour to dry. You also have the option to pick up your candle at a later time as well if you desire.
  • How much does it cost?
    The cost of your Candle-Making can range from $40 and up depending on the vessel you choose typically our vessels range from anywhere from $40-$65. To make your candle extra fun we have Mica dyes and accessories for an additional cost as well. When you book with us there is a $5 per person reservation fee that will be credited toward your Candle-Making session.
  • How does the reservation deposit fee work?
    When reserving with us, a $5 deposit per participant is required. This deposit not only secures your seat but also acts as credit towards your booking upon arrival. Please be aware that the deposit is non-refundable in the event of a no-show. For instance, if you've paid for a group of 5 but only 4 attend, the deposit will only be refunded for 4 participants. Should you need to reschedule, your deposit will remain on file, and you can contact us to arrange a new reservation.
  • What type of wax are the candles made out of?
    At Mission Crafts, we use a parasoy blended wax (paraffin and soy) so that you're able to take your candle home that day as it dries faster.
  • What is the difference between a class and the Candle "Bar?"
    At Mission Crafts we host themed classes every month, in our classes we have a set theme and we get creative experimenting with vessel decorations and occasional wax art to complement the chosen theme. To participate in these classes, you will need to secure your spot with a ticket purchase. Classes are about 3 hours long and are instructor lead. Whereas The Candle "Bar" caters to your preferences. Here, you have the freedom to choose both your preferred scent and vessel, allowing you to create a truly customized candle.
  • Do you accept walk-ins?
    Yes, we do accept walk-ins although on weekends it's highly suggested that you make a reservation so that we can accommodate you better.
  • Can I bring my kids?
    Candle-Making is an activity best suited for ages 9 and up. Please be advised should you bring your children younger than the age of 9 they will not be allowed to participate in candle-making. We do offer seasonal classes tailored for children during the summer and spring break.
  • Can I bring my own food and beverages?
    Yes, here at Mission Crafts we are a BYOB space so please feel free to bring those beverages and snacks. Note that you will need to bring your own cups/plates as we do not provide any. Limit one bottle of wine per pair, and liquor is not allowed
  • Where do I park when arriving at the store?
    When you and your guest arrive at Mission Crafts you can find parking right across the street at Opportunity Homes as long as it's after 5 and or on weekends. The building that we are in also offers parallel parking around the building on S Flores, W Guenther, and E Rische.
  • What kinds of payments do you accept?
    We are a cashless store and accept all major credit cards, as well as digital payment methods including Apple Pay, Cash App, Venmo, and PayPal.
